Session Overview:

This session is for attendees who are not beginners and are familiar with foundational approaches to behavior management.

In this session, participants will:

  • Learn about different theories and approaches to managing behavior in an inclusive classroom.
  • Review common challenging behaviors for students with disabilities and their root causes, and considerations for how disabilities affect behavior.
  • Leave with actionable resources and strategies that can be implemented immediately to support the most challenging behaviors
  • Explore best practices for data collection and behavior intervention plans
